Meet Hazel Colon
Hazel Colon is one of South Florida’s favorite Wedding Officiants, and Ordained Non-Denominational Minister. She has been marrying couples for years and enjoys the heartwarming experience of uniting families together. Specializing in working with couples to develop inclusive, custom ceremonies that best reflect their unique heritage and love story. Hazel is known to perform ceremonies rich in love, life, and laughter. She is an experienced public speaker with a keen ability to engross her audience.
Hazel's spiritual journey began as a child and this has allowed her to grow into a celebrated writer and speaker. Starting as a public speaker at the age of 5 at her family’s local church in Pennsylvania, she grew from a young age into her current passion as a celebrant and motivational speaker. She is originally from the New York and Philadelphia areas and spent her summers as a child with her family in Puerto Rico. After graduating from Penn State University with a Bachelors of Law, she made it her goal to travel the world and learn about many cultures, and this has allowed her to broaden her perspective on life. Traveling has built a creative foundation that has helped her grow into the passionate woman she has become today.
Hazel also currently works in the legal field, with over 20 years experience assisting power attorneys in all aspects of law. When she is not officiating weddings, she is volunteering within the community and enjoying life with her family.
